Research activity in 1997

By combining results from a laurea thesis on cryptography and exercises associated with the course on computer architecture, we extracted an internal report, "Division by Multiplication - DBM, Technical report RTHH" which optimizes division by divisor known at compile time in those computer that have an instruction that yields the upper half of multiplication products. The authors are g: Mantovani (graduated), A. Werbrouck (full professor) and L. Zerbone (student).
