A part from research projects (both methodological and experimental) carried on by the research groups in the Dipartimento, in the last few years the Dipartimento has started some projects aimed at developing innovative applications of Information Technology.
Some peculiar characteristics of these projects are:
- involve (and integrate) a number of different methodologies investigated by different research groups of the Department
- the result of the projects are software prototypes intended to be later deployed for actual use.
