WiFi Connection |
Configure your device to connect to the "Dipinfo Guests" wireless network provider. No encryption is needed. When the connection is established, open a browser and try to surf to your preferite website (e.g. http://www.di.unito.it), a Captive Portal Page will be shown where you can insert the temporary ticket credentials you got from ICT Services or directly from your host in the Department. |

The Captive Portal |
The Captive Portal is the main interface to get you connected to the Internet. You need to insert the temporary ticket credentials and then press the button "Connect to Internet NOW!" An internet surfing session will be then started and it will expire if you stay idle for more than 30 minutes, in any case after two hours. When the session expires, you'll be requested to login again to get connected for another session. When the session starts, a logout browser window will appear to allow you to close the session when you desire to quit. Don't close the logout window, because it's safer to explicity close the session when you think you're done, rather then letting it to expire. |

Ticketing Service |
The Department Host can create a ticket (valid no more than 4 days) for the Guest by himself using the following service Dipinfo Guests Ticketing. Alternatively, for a longer time validity, the Department Host can accompany Guest to the ICT Services Office with an identity document, and get the ticket delivered to the Guest. |
