Title: Multi-Agent Dialogs over Action

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss multi-agent dialogs over action, and how such dialogs differ from those over beliefs. I will present recent work in defining the semantics and pragmatics for action locutions, such as promises and commands, work which views these dialogs as involving the joint, incremental manipulation of annotated action-intentionality tokens. This viewpoint enables the development of a formal denotational semantics for action locutions and dialogs, using partitioned tuple spaces of tokens as the key organizing idea.
