Michele Garetto (S'01--M'04) received the Dr.Ing. degree in telecommunication
engineering and Ph.D. degree in electronic and telecommunication engineering
from Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2000 and 2004, respectively.
In 2002, he was a visiting scholar with the Networks Group, University
of Massachusetts, Amherst. In 2004, he held a post-doctoral position with
the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department,
Rice University, Houston, TX. He is currently an assistant professor
with the University of Torino, Turin, Italy. His research interests are in
the field of performance evaluation of wired and wireless communication networks.
