Assunta Matassa

Short Bio

Assunta Matassa was born in Frosinone near Rome in 1989.

She received her master degree with 'summa cum laude' and publication recommended in 'Produzione e Organizzazione della comunicazione e della conoscenza' in July 2013 at the Università degli Studi di Torino. The thesis was about wearable computing.

Since January 2014 she is Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of the Università degli Studi di Torino where she is member of the research areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Internet of Things.

Her main research interest are related to design and prototype of new kind of interaction between human beings and machines.

She is also interesting in designing for urban spaces and buildings to improve quality of life and to enhance the relationship between cities and citizen.
