ThreeDness is a research project aiming at the implementation of a framework for the creation of 3D interfaces performing "Awareness Promotion" in the context of CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work).
The application is written in Java. It relies on Java3D, a real-time 3D graphics support framework developed by Sun.

• Office Environment. Two customized interfaces showing the same awareness information about office working activities and status of printers.
  

  An MPEG4 video of the running interface (ca. 4.5MB). The video show two interfaces, possibly running on two distributed machine. The interface on the right shows the same awareness information in a customized way.

• Resources Administration information. The interfaces show information about the relationships between users and administered resources.
  
• Disaster Medicine. Proposal for the field of disaster medicine. Awareness interfaces might help people interveening for a disaster to better perceive the overall status of the rescue procedures.
