Simone Pernice received his Master degree in Mathematics from the University of Turin , Italy, in 2016 with Master thesis entitled "Analysis of Markovian agent models through Fluid approximation".
Currently he is Ph.D student at Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin. He is also member of "Quantitative Biology" ( q-Bio ) group.
His current research interests are in the area of mathematical modeling, application of stochastic models for systems biology, theory and application of Petri Nets (Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets, Stochastic Symmetric Nets, Extended Stochastic Symmetric Nets).
Visiting Ph.D. student (5 months) at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge, awarded with the Erasmus + traineeship Program.
