   Rossana Damiano was born in Cirie' (Torino) in 1972.

   She graduated in Modern Litterature (Communication Technics) at the University of Torino in 1997.

   From October 1997 to October 2001 she attended the Ph. D. School in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin.

   From April 2001 to July 2001 she visited the Institute for Creative Technologies (University of Southern California), Los Angeles.

   She got her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Turin in February 2002, with a dissertation on "The role of norms in intelligent reactive agents".

   Since 2001, she is a researcher in Computer Science at the University of Turin and Assistant Professor at the School of Multimedia and Art (Facolta' di Scienze della Formazione, Multidams).

   She is a member of the Interaction Models (Agents, Language and Expression) Group at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin, directed by prof. Leonardo Lesmo.

   Her interests involve computational models of dialogue, socially intelligent agents, and interactive drama.
