1 What I did

Trying apt-get install education-music I got an error saying that lilypond could not be installed.

So, I downloaded

ec-fonts-mftraced_1.0.5-1_all.deb
lilypond1.3_2.4.2-1.wf.1_i386.deb
lilypond_2.4.2-1.wf.1_i386.deb
lilypond-data_2.4.2-1.wf.1_all.deb
lilypond-doc_2.4.2-1.wf.1_all.deb

from http://afavant.elte.hu/~wferi/debian/

Then, I issued:

apt-get install ec-fonts-mftraced
dpkg -i lilypond*.deb                /* giving problems, solved by these two: */
apt-get -f install
dpkg --configure -a
apt-get install education-music
