ITIF - Innovative Technological Instrument to assess Frailty
Project ITIF is in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at the University of Turin.
The main objective of this project is to improve the elderly quality of life and to decrease the
incidence of adverse outcomes of ageing, like disability, falls, cognitive decline, loss of autonomy,
institutionalization, hospitalization and death, with consequent reduction of medical costs for individual and society,
coherently with the EU priorities on Active and Healthy Ageing to support people’s health and well-being.
Project ITIF consists in a technological instrument, developed starting from theoretical and mathematical models of frailty,
that allow to assess Frailty in a multidimensional way, evaluating different domains: physical, nutritional, psychological, cognitive, and social.
