Short Bio
Luca Paolini has got a PhD in "Mathématiques Discrètes et Fondements de l’Informatique" (Université de la Mediterranée, Marseille, France) and a PhD in "Informatica" (Università di Genova, Italia) in 2004 (in a French-Italian co-tutored program); he has also got a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies en Mathématiques Discrètes et Fondements de l’Informatique in 2000 (Marseille) and a master-degree in Scienza dell'Informazione in 1998 (Torino). He is the winner of the prize for the best italian doctoral thesis in theoretical computer science (2004). He is member of the Computer Science Departement since 2005. He has two sons: Niccolò (2013) e Jacopo (2016).
