obtained on 15/2/2002, from the University of Turin, with the dissertation of the P.h.D. thesis: “Hybrid formalism for performance evaluation”. The advisors where Prof. Gianfranco Balbo and Matteo Sereno (From the University of Turin). The P.h.D. course was the XIII edition of the P.h.D. in Computer Science form the University of Turin, and lasted 4 years.
Degree in Computer Science, obtained on 25/3/1997, from the Computer Science Department of the University of Turin – Italy, with a score of 110/110, plus laude, honorific mention, and publication.
The subject of the Thesis was “Queuing Network with Blocking: qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques”. The advisors where Prof. Gianfranco Balbo and Prof. Matteo Sereno (from the University of Turin) and Prof. Carla Simone (from the University of Milan). On 24/11/1997, the thesis has been awarded with the “best thesis of the year 1995/1997”, with a medal.
