MiFID: Markets in Financial Instruments Directive
One of the main concerns of the directive is the protection of the clients of financial service agencies. To this aim, it introduces new regulations that financial services must follow. In the following examples, we model the regulation that applies to the offer of investment services off-site. This is the case when a bank promotes and sells financial products with the help of external collaborators (called "tied agents" or intermediaries).
